چکیده

We present the joint analysis of Neutral Hydrogen (HI) Intensity Mapping observations with three galaxy samples: Luminous Red Galaxy (LRG) and Emission Line (ELG) samples from eBOSS survey, WiggleZ Dark Energy Survey sample. The HI intensity maps are Green Bank Telescope redshifted 21cm emission on 100deg2 covering redshift range $0.6<z<1.0$. process data by separating removing foregrounds FastICA, construct a transfer function to correct for effects foreground removal signal. cross-correlate cleaned study overall amplitude as well scale-dependence power spectrum. also qualitatively compare our findings predictions semi-analytic evolution simulation. cross-correlations constrain quantity $\Omega_{{HI}} b_{{HI}} r_{{HI},{opt}}$ at an effective scale $k_{eff}$, where $\Omega_{HI}$ is density fraction, $b_{HI}$ bias, $r_{{HI},{opt}}$ galaxy-hydrogen correlation coefficient, which dependent content optical At $k_{eff}=0.31 \, h/{Mpc}$ we find r_{{HI},{Wig}} = [0.58 \pm 0.09 {(stat) 0.05 {(sys)}}] \times 10^{-3}$ GBT-WiggleZ, r_{{HI,{ELG}}} [0.40 0.04 GBT-ELG, r_{{HI},{LRG}} [0.35 0.08 0.03 GBT-LRG, $z\simeq 0.8$. report results $k_{eff}=0.24 $k_{eff}=0.48 h/{Mpc}$. With little information parameters beyond local Universe, these amongst most precise constraints neutral hydrogen fluctuations in underexplored range.

The Green Bank Telescope

Following two months of very successful commissioning and the first science observations on the GBT (see the following articles), operation was suspended in early April, one month earlier than planned, to work on the azimuth track. As described in previous NRAO Newsletters, the azimuth track wear strips, on which the azimuth wheels roll, were shifting slightly in a circumferential direction as ...

Rangefinder Metrology for the Green Bank Telescope

A scanning laser rangefinder metrology system for the 100-meter Green Bank Telescope is de¬ scribed. Use of this system for correction of the primary reflector's shape and pointing of the tele¬ scope is described.

The Green Bank Telescope Active Surface System

During the design phase of the Green Bank Telescope (GBT), various means of providing an accurate surface (0.220 mm) on a large aperture paraboloid (100 m), were considered. Automated jacks supporting the primary reflector were selected as the appropriate technology since they promised greater performance and potentially lower costs than a homologous or carbon fiber design, and had certain adva...

Green Bank Telescope Studies of Giant Pulses from Millisecond Pulsars

We have conducted a search for giant pulses from four millisecond pulsars using the 100m Green Bank Telescope. Coherently dedispersed time-series from PSR J0218+4232 were found to contain giant pulses of very short intrinsic duration whose energies follow power-law statistics. The giant pulses are in phase with the two minima of the radio integrated pulse profile but are phase aligned with the ...

A Search for Dense Gas in Luminous Submillimeter Galaxies with the 100-m Green Bank Telescope

We report deep K-band (18-27GHz) observations with the 100-m Green Bank Telescope of HCN(1 − 0) line emission towards the two submillimeterselected galaxies (SMGs) SMMJ02399−0136 (z = 2.81) and SMMJ16359+6612 (z = 2.52). For both sources we have obtained spectra with channel-to-channel rms noise of σ ≤ 0.5mJy, resulting in velocity-integrated line fluxes better than < ∼ 0.1 Jy km s , although w...
